A Reputation Built on High Standards of Quality for Furniture Refinishing and Restoration.

We believe that the best furniture is what you already own.  Many families own high quality solid wood furniture made in Ontario or Quebec before the factories such as Gibbard, Andrew Malcolm and Knechtel closed down. Maple, oak, walnut or pine furniture can be stained or painted, accenting your current décor, ready for handing down to the next generation.

Our reputation was built upon furniture refinishing and restoration with Yared Lakew’s complete attention to detail and customer satisfaction. We have refinished and restored all styles and types of furniture and are now finding creative new ways of converting vintage furniture to fit modern lifestyles.

Do you own vintage furniture that doesn’t quite fit in with your décor? Did you inherit your grandmother’s sideboard, but it doesn't match your other furniture?

Maybe you have a table that can be raised to fit comfortably as a dining room table. Or your pine, dark-stained armoire would look great painted and distressed to look more informal.

We can cut away part of your wooden bed-frame or head-board to make them smaller, or add inserts turning a Queen-size bed-frame into a twin bed. How about converting a traditional two-pedestal, mirrored vanity into two bedside tables? Or we can convert your old sideboard into a bathroom vanity.

Are you into DIY? We can strip, repair and prepare your furniture ready for you to stain or paint on your own.

Are you looking for a unique coffee table or dining room table? We may have one in our inventory or from our list of clients who are downsizing. You can have it as-is or we’ll custom finish it to the colour of your choice matching other paint colour or wood colour in your home using the standard Benjamin-Moore colour chart.

Rustic, industrial furnishings are very popular and on trend. We can paint your old wrought iron furniture for indoor or outdoor use or create a new table top out of wood or glass.  Show us a picture or a sketch and we’ll make it happen for you.
